We’re proud to announce the launch of a brand new series: The Reggae Roast Soundsystem Sessions – a monthly celebration of Soundsystem Culture.

Each episode features the full power of the Reggae Roast Soundsystem, captured live and direct, with performances from some of the finest Reggae, Dancehall, and Jungle artists in the UK.

Episode 1: Mr. Williamz

The series kicks off in style with our friend the incredible Mr. Williamz, delivering an electrifying performance that captures the raw energy of our live shows – the same vibes we brought on tour this summer with legends UB40.

A big shout out to the team who helped produce this session- Jordan Grant on Camera, Matt Interrupt on audio duties and Tom Bibby Producing.

Soundsystem culture has a long and important history in the UK. Born from Jamaican roots, it went on to inspire entire genres – Jungle, Garage, Grime, Dubstep – and has had a huge influence on British culture as a whole.

With Reggae Roast we’re proud to stand at the meeting point of tradition and progression – carrying the torch of old school soundsystem culture while connecting it with the modern UK bass scene. The Soundsystem Sessions are our way of shining a light on that legacy and showing where it’s heading next.
