    When Hurricane Melissa struck Jamaica, it left behind devastating damage, destroying homes, livelihoods, and vital infrastructure. As a brand deeply connected to Jamaican culture, we at Reggae Roast felt compelled to do something to help.     This week, on 28 October 2025, Hurricane Melissa made landfall in Jamaica as a Category 5 storm, one of the most powerful to hit the region in modern history. The destruction has been immense: widespread structural damage, power and infrastructure breakdowns, communities flooded, lives lost, and thousands displaced.
