Isaac Maya has carved his name as one of the most influential figures in the global Jungle scene. With a career that spans over two decades behind the decks, Maya is widely regarded as a true master of his craft—a selector and producer who bridges the gap between Reggae roots and Jungle energy like few others can.
Starting as a DJ in the late ‘90s, Maya quickly gained recognition for his ability to blend deep basslines, rolling breaks, and classic reggae samples, setting dancefloors alight across the Americas and Europe. By 2005, he had made his first steps into production, and since then has become one of the most active contributors to Mexico’s electronic music scene, with over 100 releases on some of the most respected labels worldwide.
In 2009, he launched his own label, LowFreqMX, a platform that has supported countless up-and-coming projects from Mexico and beyond. Named “#1 DJ” on the Mexican DJ List by DJ Concept Magazine & Pioneer, Maya’s influence stretches far beyond borders, with over 500 shows in more than 50 cities across two continents.
