For our last event of 2009 we are heading back to Shacklewell Lane for another Reggae Roast Warehouse Dance. Our first session in the new venue last month was an amazing night, great vibes from all in attendance. It was probably the best Reggae Roast to date and the dancefloor was rammed from 10 pm until close.

Special guest this month is the mighty Perilous, a veteran selector from East London who’s legendary dances over the past 10 years inspired us to do what we do. Perilous is renowned for his selection of limited Studio 1 tracks, a records collection that most DJs can only dream of. We are delighted to have him onboard and we can guarantee his fine choice rare Roots cuts will warm the dace nicely!

Alongside Perilous, Reggae Roast residents Exel & Moodie will be joined by Joe Lickshot, providing their usual blend of heavy hitting and deep rooted selections. Ramon Judah & Ishu will host the proceedings, two MCs with incomparable energy and a strictly positive message.

This is set to be another massive night. Last month was amazing thanks to the all of the positive people that came along. We hope to get the same energy this month for our last session 2009. Our first long play compilation ‘Roots Uprising’ will also be released the same week so expect to hear exclusive tracks from the Reggae Roast Records vault. Copies of ‘Roots Uprising’ will be on Sale at the bar!

Arrive before 10.00 to avoid disappointment, last month was 1-in 1-out by 10.30
